White Bear Yacht Club is designated a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System (ACSS). WBYC is the tenth course in Minnesota and 290^th in the world to receive this honor.

In order to achieve certification, a golf course must demonstrate that they maintain a high degree of environmental quality in the following categories:

• Water Conservation
• Outreach and Education
• Environmental Planning
• Water Quality Management
• Integrated Pest Management
• Wildlife and Habitat Management
