Online Sailing Resources


The records of the Inland Lake Yachting Association and the Interlake Regattas show that the White Bear Yacht Club has won more than its share of regattas, due to the skill of its sailors and speed of its boats.

The club is very proud of its sailing history and has the unique opportunity to offer this sport in a country club setting. White Bear Lake’s spectacular scenery combines with convenience of the club’s facilities for wonderful sailing experiences. The Sailing Captain (who is a member of the Club’s Executive Board) functions as liaison between the Executive Board and the Sailing Committee. The Sailing Committee publishes an annual booklet, which contains sailing instruction and a schedule of regular races, regattas and special events. This booklet is available in the main clubhouse.

Races are scheduled every Wednesday and Thursday evening and every Saturday and Sunday throughout June and July.

Sailing instructions for both adults and children are available through the Sailing School.
