Exceptional Conditions, Accessible Play

Ranked "Best in State" by GolfDigest, White Bear Yacht Club is considered one of the best golf courses in Minnesota. Globally, the course's reputation stands as ranking in the top 150 course by Golf Magazine

Our par 72 Willie Watson/Donald Ross designed golf course also ranks in memorability and shot value. The course features undulating terrain and wave-like land movement, with mounds and crests accenting the greens and fairways, presenting a new test of ability each time you play. You can't help but take in the natural surroundings; with tree-lined fairways, sounds of wildlife, and lake breezes coming off the shores of White Bear Lake. Dedicated to an active long-range plan with present-day course architectural consultant and member, Jim Urbina, the Club continues to prioritize preserving the course's unique characteristics while honoring Watson's and Ross's original design intent.

"WBYC is one of my all-time favorite places to play. It belongs in the top 50 of all the courses in the US. I love the terrain, green sites, and shots into and around the greens that demand precision, clear strategy, and imagination." – Tommy W., Golf Atlas

Golf Simulator - Winter Center

We are pleased to announce a new winter golf activity center that will be outfitted with (2) Trackman Simulators, ping pong tables and a practice putting aid.  These amenities will afford the membership the opportunity to practice their swings, play simulated golf rounds, take lessons and get fitted for new golf clubs during the winter months. The Trackman golf simulator technology is widely considered to be the best in the industry and is proven by the number of PGA Tour players that trust Trackman for their golf swing analysis data.

Along with the equipment, WBYC will now be able to offer limited food and beverage options over the winter months. The facility will be housed in the Commodore Room during winter months.
