Proprietary Membership
Founded in 1889 as a sailing club on the shores of White Bear Lake, White Bear Yacht Club to this day maintains the largest "A" Boat fleet in the upper Midwest. Members can learn to sail or exhibit their skills in the frequently held sailing regattas on the lake.
The original nine hole golf course was constructed by William "Willie" Watson in 1912. In 1915, the world famous golf architect, Donald Ross, did a redesign to the original nine holes and added nine more. The course design is one of Ross's finest having been ranked #49 in the world in 2018 by Golf Club Atlas.

Golf
We want you to be able to access your course when it fits your schedule. With our Proprietary Golf Membership your able to take advantage of our "No Tee Time" policy.
Tennis
Featuring four lakefront HAR-TRU clay tennis courts and two hard courts, we are one of only three clubs in Minnesota to offer its members access to a separate Tennis House.
Dining with a View
Enjoy three distinct culinary experiences, featuring locally sourced ingredients with views that can't be beat.
Children's Program
Children can partake in the Bear Program and participate in golf, tennis, and swimming clinics. Private lessons are also available.
