GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Bartender is responsible for preparation of cocktails/drinks, occasional food and beverage serving, and some room rearranging. Additional duties relate to the maintenance of dining room cleanliness and ensuring member satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Adhere to Minnesota State alcohol laws
  • Prepare cocktails and pour wine in the member dining area(s) of the Club along with events that take place at the Club throughout the season
  • Ensure the bar is properly set up and cleaned in accordance with the standards of the proper dining service and/or event(s) taking place at the Club
  • Displays commitment to the Club by demonstrating initiative toward assigned tasks and display a willingness to learn
  • Provides constructive feedback on the beverage program at the Club by interacting with the membership and gathering their thoughts
  • Submits new cocktail ideas to the Beverage Director
  • Understand food and beverage menus and provide attentive, educated service
  • Occasionally obtain food orders in an efficient and accurate manner and communicate those orders to the appropriate
  • team members
  • Work effectively with Club team members and management
  • Clean and restock the bar(s) when members have finished dining at the Club
  • Be proficient in the Club's point of sales system and use it in an efficient way (you will be trained)
  • Perform in an efficient, organized fashion
  • Ensure that member expectations for food, beverage, and ambiance have been met and, preferably, exceeded
  • Post correct totals to correct member accounts via P.O.S.
  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
  • Occasionally assist with table and furniture rearrangement
  • Exceed member expectations at every opportunity

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Server is responsible for order taking, food and beverage serving, table setting, and some room rearranging. Additional duties relate to the maintenance of dining room cleanliness, service flow, and member satisfaction. The Server position may also be asked to act as a host/hostess, as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Understand food and beverage menus and provide attentive, educated service
  • Use appropriate language when conversing with membership
  • Perform in an efficient, organized fashion
  • Mark all necessary utensils before course arrives (i.e. steak knives/soup spoons)
  • Ensure that member expectations for food, beverage, and ambiance have been met and, preferably, exceeded
  • Remove soiled accoutrements from table
  • Post correct totals to correct member accounts via P.O.S.
  • Reset dining rooms and associated areas for service
  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
  • Assist with table and furniture rearrangement
  • Exceed member expectations at every opportunity
  • Adhere to Minnesota State alcohol laws

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

This Golf Shop Attendant position requires an individual who possesses a "team player" mentality as well as the desire to work hard. The position will be involved in all day-to-day golf operations, which may include: outside operations, club fitting and repair, golf shop merchandising, the Junior Golf Program, PGA Junior League and tournament operations. A successful candidate will have a pleasant and outgoing personality with an understanding (and practical experience) of providing excellent service to our members and guests. Professionalism (appearance, decorum, integrity) and an attention to detail are essential personal characteristics of a successful candidate. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated individual who will play an active role in the Golf Operation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Shows willingness to converse with members and guests, making them feel comfortable and welcome while on property.
  • Be informed on and promote all club activities.
  • Assist in the day-to-day golf operations.
  • Maintain a supportive role in the merchandise operation, frequently updating displays, checking in inventory and assisting with reordering and special ordering for membership.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • College degree
  • Previous private club or retail experience.
  • Provide first class service for members and guests, foster relationships among the membership.
  • Proven an interest and passion for the game of golf.
  • Has a self-starter demeanor and a willingness to do any part of the golf operation.
  • Exceptional communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
